To All, The Super Dad's Out There!

Parenting is a journey, not a destination.

Whether you're a mother or father or a caregiver to a child, there are many special moments that take place as we embrace this journey, from milestones, growth and developments, along with all the achievements made.

Sadly last year, I had two incredible losses.

My father unexpectedly passed away in his sleep from a heart attack at the age of 71, and my beloved father-in-law lost his battle to cancer a few months later at the age of 81.

While they are not here to celebrate Father's Day this year, they are here in spirit with all the fun and incredible memories that they have created with me, my family and my children along the way.

We never know when our life will come to an end, so on this Father's Day, if you are blessed to have a father active in your life. I encourage you to celebrate them, connect with them, and create memories that will keep their spirits alive long after they are gone.

It is those memories that will guide you, support you and comfort you when that time does come and helps you keep their spirits alive. It's those memories that will put an instant smile on your face when you come across doing something with your children; that you once did with your father.

Thank you for teaching them new activities and for spending one-on-one time with them.

These are the experiences that will turn into memories that they will have to cherish forever.

Your children look up to you more than you will ever know.
